Late night props to the San Diego State Aztecs. I was accepted into a SDSU Graduate Program in 2019. Tremendous university. Take a guess what program😵. No prize to winner so lets move on. Full disclosure, no intention to attend for a few reasons. But I love the school and the opportunity they would have afforded. Thanks to my friend Marshall Hilliard(not an Aztec 😂) and his positivity in his life and career. Played a part in my applying though he never knew it. Appreciate it my man ✌. And for the generous time, talks, and those medical contacts and info the last 3 years, can't thank you enough.

The boys have been fun to watch the last 12-15 years. The football team has always intrigued me. It truly is a Sleeping Giant that has Monster potential. Not a UNC deadstick giant type. Locale. Academic Reputation. Rising research and Carnegie Classification. Uniforms. Program history. Iconic Coach Don "Air" Coryell. A true favorite of mine here. Future Redskins Coach and NASCAR Champion Owner Joe Gibbs. Players like Brian Sipe. Marshall Faulk. A Top 5 All Time NFL Running Back in my opinion. Jim Wilks. Isaac Curtis. Mike Douglass. Gary Garrison. Doug Reed. Webster Slaughter. Don Warren. New stadium. New conference soon. New horizons.
For now. One step closer to a Mountain West Championship. And, admittedly a long shot, a possible College Football Playoff Spot.
This Aztec football program is very, very close. The basketball side, under the great, and should be in the Hall of Fame, Head Coach Steve Fisher and the capable current Head Coach Brian Dutcher have shown the country the athletic potential of SDSU. Kawhi Leonard anyone? Wishing nothing but much more success to the Aztecs. It's coming soon.
